Herbal
Medicine. Is
a system of health-care that relies on plants as the source of remedies.
It is a substantial alternative to conventional drug-based medicine.
It is based on remedies and techniques tried and tested through
generations of use, but increasingly re-evaluated in the light of
modern research. A key aspect is that remedies are used to support
and modify disturbed body functions, rather than to directly attack
the symptoms of disease.
Iridology.
Iridology
is the study of the colored part of the eye (the iris) to determine
potential health problems. Iridologists believe that changing patterns
and markings in the iris can be used to reveal emerging conditions
in every part of the body.
Kinesiology.
Is
a system of natural health care which combines muscle monitoring
with the principles of Chinese medicine to assess energy and body
function, applying a range of gentle yet powerful healing techniques
to improve health, wellbeing and vitality.
Massage.
Massage Therapy is a hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of
the body. It can assist in alleviating the soft tissue discomfort
associated with everyday and occupational stresses, muscular overuse
and many chronic pain syndromes.
Naturopathy.
Naturopathy
is a system of natural health that uses natural substances to treat
the patient. It is based on a recognition that the patient's mental,
emotional, and physical states must all be treated for a lasting
effect. Naturopathy often includes iridology, nutrition, and herbal
medicine. It can also incorporate kinesiology, homeopathy, massage
therapy or cranio-sacral release.
